Welcome to the 2025 Richmond Women's City Amateur

The Richmond Women’s City Amateur Championship is held every year in June. The first RWGA City Amateur was held in 1926 and has been held every year since, with the exception of 1944, 1945 and 2020. It is usually held at the member clubs in Richmond during the first full week of June. However, it will be held the second week of June in 2025.  Monday is qualifying day and the Match Play begins on Tuesday. The top qualifiers play in the Championship flight and all others play in flights according to their handicap.

Eligibility: All female players residing in the Richmond and surrounding county area

Format: 18 Hole Qualifying Round followed by Match Play in Flights. 120 players may participate in the qualifying round. The top eighty (80) qualifiers will proceed to match play. Players not advancing to match play will receive a refund for 2 days of cart fees.

Prizes:​​​​ Winner and finalist within flights. 

Registration fee: $125.00 includes registration cost of $50 for the event and the first 3 days of cart fees ($25.00 per day).
